Uwaga, dzisiejszy post sponsoruje sztuka! I to nie byle jaka, bo sztuka współczesna. A zaczęło się tak - pewnego letniego poranka przemknęłam, z prędkością światła, przez gminę Kingston. Tak mknąc, zobaczyłam biedne, poszkodowane czerwone budki telefoniczne. A tak dokładniej rządek dwunastu przewróconych jak domino budek w ramach instalacji "Out of Order" Davida Macha. Łatwo można się domyśleć, że budki nie nadają się już do użycia, ale co ciekawe, oprócz zniszczeń związanych z ich dojrzałym wiekiem, to nie ma na nich wiele śladów wandalizmu. Czyżby budki były darzone ogromnym szacunkiem przez lokalnych?
Attention, the art is sponsoring the upcoming post today! What's more, it's modern art. It has all started on a sunny summer morning when I dashed through the borough of Kingston in a one-horse open sleigh. While speeding, I saw those poor, wrecked red phone boxes. To be more specific, it was a row of twelve falling over phone boxes which create an art installation called Out of Order by David Mach. As you can easily guess, they are not usable any more. What's interesting, they are kind of destroyed because of the mature age reasons but they have no traces of vandalism, how cool is that! Are the phone boxes respected so much by locals?
