Odrobina przerwy od ukochanego Londynu nie zaszkodzi, a i powiew świeżości się tutaj przyda, stąd też zabieram was dzisiaj do Spodni w Krainie Wodnej. A dokładniej do Broek in Waterland w Holandii, które po dosłownym przetłumaczeniu nazwy staje się właśnie owymi spodniami.
Moja obecna rodzina goszcząca zabrała mnie tam dwa tygodnie temu i muszę powiedzieć, że wyjazd był mocno trafiony, bo miejscowość ta jest urocza. Wszystkie budynki są utrzymane w podobnym stylu, ulice wybrukowane, ogródki wokół domów zadbane, nawet lampy uliczne są stylowe! Ani taki mały szczegół jak pogoda, która tym razem nie dopisała, było buro i ponuro, choć z paroma przebłyskami słońca, nie zepsuł bardzo pozytywnych wrażeń ze spaceru. Bardzo mi się tam spodobało i wciąż twierdzę, że mogłabym tam kiedyś pomieszkać. Kiedyś.

Actually, I will write about Broek in Waterland in the Netherlands but the literal translation of its name just means such pants.
My current host family took me there two weeks ago and I must admit the trip turned out to be brilliant because that town is so charming. All the buildings are decorated in a similar style, streets are paved, gardens well kept, even the street lamps are stylish! Even a small detail like the weather, which wasn't good this time - it was gloomy and dreary, didn't destroy my positive impression of the stroll. However, there were a few flashes of sunshine so I had time to fall in love with that place and reckon I could live there one day.
