Our journey across Amsterdam comes to an end today. I've got a very last part of photos to share with you. This time we are going to see the area called Jordaan. If I had to choose my favorite place in the whole city, I would do for Jordaan with no hesitation. In the past it was a poor, working-class district, now it's pretty posh. It's known for its artistic atmosphere with lots of nice cafes and markets. It's also an area where the skyline is dominated by the Westerkerk's tower (e.g. in the second or third picture). By the way, Westerkerk is a church in which the one and only Rembrandt was buried. Yeah, Jordaan has an amazing vibe. It's even more beautiful with all those flowers and other green stuff trailing over the walls. So if you haven't been to this part of Amsterdam, I hope that these photos
will encourage you to do so. And if you were, make sure to share with me whether you were as charmed with Jordaan as I am.

ReplyDeleteCałym sercem polecam, bo Amsterdam nie tylko prezentuje się świetnie na zdjęciach, ale też w rzeczywistości jest zachwycający :)
