London Borough of Hackney

Wybierając zdjęcia na dziś, nie mogłam uwierzyć, że aż tak bardzo zaniedbałam zwiedzanie Hackney. Nie pozostaje mi teraz nic innego jak żałowanie oraz wpisanie sobie tych okolic na listę miejsc, które chcę odwiedzić, gdy ponownie odwiedzę Londyn. Krążąc po Londynie, miałam okazję zobaczyć dwa najpopularniejsze wagony metra, znajdujące się na dachu Village Underground, będącego byłym magazynem, w którym obecnie dzieją się kreatywne rzeczy - koncerty, przedstawienia, wystawy.

Choosing photos for today, I couldn't believe I neglected the sightseeing of Hackney so much. I can only regret now and put this area on a list of things I should visit when I'm in London again one day. While wandering around London, I had a chance to see two the most popular tube carriage in here. They are placed on the top of the Village Underground, a former warehouse, which hosts so many creative events nowadays like gigs, live art and other kinds of performances.

Ostatnim miejscem jakie wam dzisiaj pokażę jest Geffrye House, czyli świetne muzeum ukazujące jak zmieniał się wystrój, a co za tym idzie moda i gust, domów angielskiej klasy średniej na przestrzeni wieków.

The last place I'm going to show you today is Geffrye House. It's a brilliant place that shows how the interior design, fashion and taste changed during the ages. It mainly shows the English middle-class houses.

Jak zmieniało się krzesło zobaczycie poniżej. Resztę pomieszczeń warto samemu odwiedzić, bo jest to niezwykle fajne miejsce.
